| Mark Fisher, founder of Fisher Creative, is an internationally recognized, award-winning photographer and director. He has spent significant time internationally, living in places like the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, and Germany, in addition to living throughout the United States. Through these diverse experiences and the influence of key mentors, Mark has developed a passion for creating images that capture human emotion in the mountain environment. Fueled by this sentiment, Mark has a unique ability to tell visual stories through the “off moments,” those moments that help to define an experience but aren’t necessarily the most obvious. Mark is driven by the sports and activities he captures. As an athlete himself, Mark is intimately aware of the nuances relevant to the subjects and pursuits he documents. Mark is able to utilize his mountain skills to create still or motion images that embody the essence of these environments and the people interacting within them. The result is decisive, authentic, powerful, timeless, and beautiful imagery. Mark has channeled his energy, skills and passion towards image-making, and has become one of the most sought-after visual artists in the action-sports and outdoor world. Mark’s personal and professional work has taken him to some of the world’s most remote locations and inhospitable climates. He excels through challenge and adversity, and has a knack for diving head-first into that which he is passionate about. Mark works for top industry brands such as Patagonia, Columbia Sportswear, Black Diamond Equipment, Atomic, Nike 6.0, and The North Face, with work in over thirty editorial publications throughout the world. Mark has lectured at the prestigious Annenberg Center for Photography, is a Fulbright scholar, and has been featured in industry publications such as Photo District News and Outdoor Photographer. Beyond action-sports and outdoor photography, Mark brings over a decade of studio and commercial photography experience to any project. Mark is a lighting master, both in the studio and on location. His formal and informal experiences have given him a very deep and broad understanding of visual imagery, and this is incorporated into every shoot he tackles, be it a small and intimate portrait, or a large and complicated commercial ad campaign. Mark is driven to produce intimate and insightful studio and environmental portraits. Mark enjoys coordinating large and diverse groups towards a cohesive vision and is easy to work and hang out with. He brings an intense work ethic to any project and excels at building steadfast working relationships, designing and directing complicated shoots, and delivering a final product that will exceed your expectations.
