Outdoor Commercial Media Production

in Teton Valley & Jackson Hole

Our Teton Valley production studio is located just over Teton Pass from Jackson Hole, which is internationally renowned for skiing in the Grand Teton National Park backcountry and at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The sprawling mountain scenery, varied terrain, pristine lakes, and abundant wildlife provide endless opportunities for Fisher Creative’s radical media production services. Yellowstone National Park, Caribou-Targhee National Forest and Grand Teton National Park are our backyard and an ideal place to schedule your next commercial video production.

We are the outdoor industry’s trusted global partner in media production by companies like Stio (our local fav), Patagonia, National Geographic, The North Face, Black Diamond, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Outside Magazine to name a few. Our cinematography and photography production services have earned us international awards and our knowledge and experience in Jackson, WY, and Teton Valley, ID, make us the best choice for outdoor production near the Tetons.

Mountain Hardwear

Fisher Creative loves working with Mountain Hardwear and has been fortunate to work on both ski and ski lifestyle campaigns in the Tetons off Teton Pass and climbing on the Grand Teton in conjunction with Jackon Hole Mountain Guides.  We featured the best the Tetons have to offer, including powder skiing and epic climbing in Grand Teton National Park. The Teton shoot was particularly engaging as we not only captured authentic and decisive still and motion imagery, we captured Mountain Hardwear’s partnership with the guides, who worked with their product designers in the field, rigorously testing the latest equipment, providing feedback, and capturing product photography highlighting the impressive gear in its ideal ecosystem.

Stio

Fisher Creative has been a close brand partner with Stio since the brand was launched over 10 years ago. We love the brand and it has been humbling to watch them grow from a small team into an internationally recognized mountain apparel company. We’ve created everything from stills and motion imagery to specific brand campaigns and product launches. For this particular story, Mark highlighted Tracey and Jay Petervary as local heroes with incredible influence on Teton Valley outdoor recreation, including trail development, access, and a lifetime commitment to furthering bike packing and winter fat biking. It was amazing to work with Jay and Tracey in their backyard as they prepared for another Iditabike in Alaska. Being able to bring Jay and Tracey’s legendary story to life with brands like Stio is truly unforgettable experience.

Black diamond

Black Diamond hired Fisher Creative for their “Live.Ski.Repeat.” campaign and the launch of their new lightweight ski mountaineering gear line. Fisher Creative’s intimate knowledge of ski mountaineering and high-angle production made us the ideal commercial media partner. For three days, a small team including Black Diamond athlete Tobin Seagal and local ski mountaineering legend Greg Collins skied iconic peaks such as the Grand Teton, Middle Teton, and the hourglass couloirs along with camping in the Garnet Canyon meadows.  We were fortunate to have prime conditions completely alone in the park. Fisher Creative has worked on multiple climbing, backcountry skiing, and general mountain shoots with Black Diamond in the Tetons.

Smartwool

Fisher Creative has been a longtime creative production partner with Smartwool and we feel that we align strongly with the brand. While we’ve worked on campaigns throughout the world with Smartwool - including Montana, British Columbia, and Mexico - some of our favorite shoots have been here in the Tetons. For this particular shoot, we were able to tap into our extensive roster of friends and athletes to capture a diverse portfolio of activities such as high-end skiing, lifestyle, apres, trail running, and general brand and product capture over a 5-day period with a wide age range of models. We worked across the area at Grand Targhee, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Teton Valley, and the Town of Jackson. Fisher Creative handled all post production, delivering a robust still and motion media package for print and online advertising and social usage.

We are daily humbled and in awe of the beauty of this untamed wilderness as we capture some of the world's most elite athletes while they push the very limits of nature. We have over two decades of regional expertise in commercial media production, deep knowledge and experience with permitting, and cutting-edge, high-end gear to equip a wide variety of commercial video and photo productions. Whether it’s dropping sick ski lines in Grand Teton National Park, snowmobiling through fresh powder in the Big Holes, running the Teton Crest Trail, climbing at the Rock Springs Buttress or the Grand Teton itself, or fly fishing on the Snake RiverFisher Creative is the team to capture any outdoor adventure in the region with high impact production services.

Permitting Cinematography and Photography in National Parks

Filming and photographing certain activities in national parks and on national forest land, such as Caribou-Targhee National Forest, involves a permitting process. The specific requirements and procedures can vary among different national parks and will also differ for the Forest Service. Thorough research on a region of interest is critical. Applying for film and still photography permits can take longer than expected. Though time-consuming, these processes protect our national parks’ natural and cultural resources while allowing for the creation of action and adventure photography and cinematography. Depending on the scale of a project, there may also be fees and additional costs associated with a permit. However, you can save time and effort when you work with the Fisher Creative team. We know what to expect and how to navigate the process smoothly, allowing us to provide valuable guidance and support throughout - another reason to choose Fisher Creative’s production services!
